A panel discussion addressing sustainability challenges in the sport of athletics hosted by organisers of the Weltklasse Zürich ahead of the Wanda Diamond League Final in the Swiss city on September 8, 2022.
Participants included: World Athletics President Sebastian Coe, Weltklasse Zürich co-meeting director, Swiss sprinter and 2021 European Indoor 60m Champion Ajla Del Ponte and Tiberio Daddi, associate professor in Corporate Environmental Management at the Sant’Anna School for Advanced Studies in Pisa and coordinator of the GAMES (Green Approaches in Management for Enhancing Sports) project. The discussion was moderated by Matthew Campelli, editor of The Sustainability Report.
