Commonwealth pole volt champion Steve Lewis won his third competition on the bounce in the USA, clearing a height of 5.50m, coming out victorious on count back.

Day 1:
Bianca Williams (commonwealth 200m bronze medallist) competed in her first indoor event of the season by winning the 60m clocking a PB of 7.34s.
The men’s 60m final was won by Imram Rahman clocking a time of 6.79s after favourite John Otugade was disqualified.
Karla Drew managed to defend her 60m hurdles on home turf achieving a time of 8.38. Just 0.01 slower than her seasons best.
Day 2:
Pole vault final saw Loughborough take gold and silver with Daniel Gardner who cleared 5.35m, winning by 35cm, beating teammate Liam Yarwood.
Day 3:
British junior decathlon champion Davis Hall stole the headlines by winning the 400m final and beat the championship record with a time of 46.91, beating both his indoor and outdoor PB’s of 48.89 and 47.85 respectively.
Zoey Clark won the 200m gold winning in a time of 24.05. Closely followed by Beth Dobbin in silver, running a PB of 24.08.
In the 800m the gold medal was won by Georgia Bell who was clocked at 2:08.23 winning by a margin of 26 seconds.
Omolulu Abiodun took the 200m title winning in a time of 21.24. Amy Allcock also won the 400m in 53.19 and raced to sixth in the UK listings.
Field events:
Shot put was won by Clare Fitzgerald with a throw of 14.70m. Rebecca Chapman won the long jump with a distance of 6.06m. Sophie Cook took pole vault gold with a height of 3.90m.

Mo Farah set a new indoor world record over 2 miles with a time of 8:03.40.
Katrina Johnson-Thompson set a new British indoor long jump record with a distance of 6.93m. Greg Rutherford won the men’s event while setting a new indoor personal best with his final leap 8.17m.
Jenny Meadows was on top in the 800m running a time of 2:01.25 and Seren Bundy-Davies controlled the 400m to win in a time of 51.72. Nigel Levine was also victorious in the men’s 400m with a time of 46.43.
In the high jump Allan Smith was in the mix with four other athletes to clear 2.26m and came out victorious as he was the only one to clear on first attempt.
Kim Collins grabbed win in the 60m with a time of 6.50, with Chijindu Ujah coming in second clocking 6.55. Racheal Johncock also clocked a personal best of 7.24s.
Lawrence Clarke achieved second in the men’s 60m hurdles clocking 7.62. In the women’s event Lucy Hatton got third with a time of 8.11.
Guy Learmonth, James Bowness and Muhktar Mohammed all managed to achieve 800m GB & NI qualifying standard.
In the 3000m Laura Muir finished sixth with a new personal best of 8:54.07, while in the men’s 1500m Lee Emanuel also finished sixth with a new personal best of 3:35.66.

Lily Partridge won the 8km, running in a time of 30:07, finishing 48 seconds clear of second place.
Charlie Hulson (Sale Harriers) took victory in the men’s 12km with a time of 39:12. Andy Heyes (Hallamshire) took silver and Nike Swimburne (Morpeth) took bronze.
Jonathon Davies defended his junior men’s title by winning the 10km race in 33:26.
The U17 6km race was won by Mohamed Mohamed in a time of 20:00, finishing 48 seconds ahead of second place James Gormley.
Rebecca Murray clocked 22:48 to win a tight 6km race, just edging the gold by 3 seconds from Phoebe Law.
Welsh National Cross Country Championships, Corwen, 21 Feb 2015.
Dewi Griffiths won his fourth consecutive Welsh senior cross country title and therefore added his name to a list of just four athletes to have done so. Ffion Price lead the whole way to win the women’s race by a considerable margin.
The junior men’s event victory went to Jac Hopkins, Bronwen Owen and Heidi Davies claimed wins in the U20/U17 race.

Dai Greene took third place in the 600m race, running a time of 1:17.59, behind Luguelin Santos (Dominican Republic) and Mark Wieczorek (USA).
Adelaide Outdoor Track Classic, Australia, 21 Feb 2015.
In her first competition of the year Jade Lally took second place in the discus with a throw of 58.45m.
Metropolitan Atlantic Indoor Championships, New York, USA, 21 Feb 2015.
European medallist Kate Avery won the women’s mile, clocking a time of 4:40.13. Liam Dee took the men’s mile in 4:06.82.
NK Indoor Senioren, Apeldoorn, Netherlands, 21-22 Feb 2015.
Desiree Henry was the runner-up the 60m in Netherlands recording a time of 7.37 in the final, losing out to the Netherland’s Dafane Schippers.
Scottish National Cross Country Championships, Falkirk, 22 Feb 2015.
Andrew Butchard managed to win the 12km race by 18 seconds, beating Callum Hawkins. The reversed order of the top two from the previous year.
The women’s race was won by Maddie Murray, beating Durham City’s Rosie Smith who finished second and Morag MacLarty third.
In the lower age groups the U20 titles went to Jonny Glen and Kathryn Gillespie.

Midland Counties Open Meeting, Birmingham 22 Feb 205.
Leon Reid won the 200m in a time of 21.17 and Rory Evans took a tight 400m victory in a time of 47.23, pipping Luke Lennon-Ford by just 0.01 seconds. In the women’s 400m Kelly Massey won in a time of 52.95.
A personal best was set in the 60m by Laura Sugar by clocking a time of 8.65.
A world record was also set in the V45 4X200M relay by the team of McGee, Minette, Gardiner and Scott. Clocking a time of 1:33.97.
