World indoor youth record holder Adam Hague travelled with his training partner Luke Cutts to compete in France this weekend. Hague valuted 5.26m whilst the British record holder Cutts finished 4th with 5.50m.

Emelia Gorecka bounced back from disappointment at the European Cross Country Championships to take the women’s 6km title in arguably her biggest career win to date.

Karla Drew and Ben Gregory took the senior honours in Sheffield with performances of 4199 and 5663 in their respective pentathlon and heptathlons.
Dan Gardiner failed to capitalise on an impressive day one performance which saw him lead the event by more than 300 points over Gregory before the 60mH after he didn’t record a mark in the pole vault.
In the women’s event Jess Taylor and Jo Rowland both scored more than 4,000 points, the first time three women have done so in the competition’s history.
In the 3km race walk event, Tom Bosworth took a convincing victory in 11:52.36.

Rachel Bamford followed up her impressive run at the Edinburgh Great XCountry 2x1km relay event by winning the 1500m A race in 4:19.34.
In the men’s equivalent, Harry Harper came from behind in the final stages to snatch victory from Ben Coldray in 3:48.76.

Isobel Pooley continued her good form from 2014 into the new year with a jump of 1.90m, a new indoor personal best.
Chris Kandu also jumped well with a performance of 2.23m whilst Julien Reid recorded a mark of 7.91m in the long jump.

Aled Davies got his 2015 season started with a bang by breaking the world indoor record for F42 shot putt with a throw of 15.53m.
David Omoregie also caught the eyes of the spectators with a 7.87 clocking in the 60m hurdles and a 6.87 in the 60m.
