Decathlete Dan Gardiner, who recently made the latter stages of the skeleton talent tests, had a hugely successful hour where he put together a string of good performances in a short space of time. He completed the 60mH in 8.27s, 7.55m in the long jump, 6.86s in the 60m and 14.12m in the shot.
Dannish Walker-Khan ran 6.85 in the 60m and 21.61 in the 200m.
Kristie Edwards ran Louise Bloor close in both the 60m and 200m events for senior women whilst Darren Scott set a new Scottish age group record over the 200m in 23.10

Laura Muir and Sean Fontana dominated in their respective events with Muir breaking the 9-minute barrier for the first time to go second on the U23 UK all-time list behind Zola Budd with a time of 8:51.75.
Fontana took the Scottish men’s 3000m title in 8:18.96.
