Here at Vinco we are pleased to announce that we will be providing both live and on demand coverage of the European Cup Winter Throwing competition in Leiria, Portugal.
The event is designed for athletes specialising in discus, javelin, hammer throwing and shot put.
It is intended to counterbalance the fact that indoor athletics meetings cannot host the longer throwing events.
The event boasts some impressive championship best performances including a male discus throw record of 69.70m by Estonian Gerd Kanter and a women’s hammer throw record of 75.07m by Poland’s Antia Wlodarczyk.
The event will take place on the 15th and 16th March and the live stream will allow the viewer to take on the role of the director, choosing which event they watch.
