Medallists from the World Athletics Championships will be joined by a host of British and Swedish stars for the final Folksam Grand Prix of the season in Gothenburg on Saturday.
The Göteborg Friidrott Grand Prix will be streamed live and you can watch it here on runjumpthrow.com from 1700 to 1900 BST, with the action available on RunnerSpace in North America.
American Raevyn Rogers – a silver medallist at Doha 2019 – is one of the headline names to look out for. The 23-year-old is set to be joined in the 800m by 2009 world bronze medallist Shannon Rowbury, British indoor champion Keely Hodgkinson, European indoor finalist Mari Smith and home favourite Lovisa Lindh.
As usual with the Folksam Series, Lindh is part of a long list of Swedish record holders expected. Among them is Meraf Bahta who is down for the 1500m along with four UK runners in the shape of Commonwealth medallist Melissa Courtney-Bryant, Rosie Clarke, Ellie Baker and Katie Snowden.
It is a similar story in the women’s pole vault where Gothenburg-born Michaela Meijer is involved having recently taken the national record away from world finalist Angelica Bengtsson. They are entered alongside English duo Holly Bradshaw and Sophie Cook, with Bradshaw hoping to pick up where she left off after winning the Stockholm Diamond League last weekend.
On the men’s side, European silver medallist Andreas Kramer came back to form by running 1:45.04 in Sollentuna and he returns for a stacked 800m that includes 1:44 men Joseph Deng, Craig Engels, Guy Learmonth and Daniel Rowden along with European under-23 second-placer Piers Copeland.

Meanwhile, long jumpers Shara Proctor and Jazmin Sawyers return having taken part in last year’s competition and they will likely face 6.81m competitor Khaddi Sagnia and Tilde Johansson, who is also the European under-20 100m hurdles champion.
Teenage sprint sensation Amy Hunt is down for the 100m and Rabah Yousif for 400m, while Lina Nielsen takes on the single-lap hurdles and Jonny Davies has elected to run 5000m.
From a local perspective, the high jump could be another great battle between Sweden’s Sofie Skoog and Erica Kinsey, while Thobias Montler and Fanny Roos participate in the long jump and shot put respectively.
