Theresa May has spent Good Friday marshalling a race in her Maidenhead constituency.
The Prime Minister, who is hoping to direct her country to an exit from the European Union, helped out at the Easter 10 event after returning from holiday in Wales.
She was equipped with a fluorescent yellow vest as she handed out water and took selfies with members of the public along the course.
Mrs May, who famously admitted that “running through fields of wheat” was the naughtiest thing she had ever done, walked the route with her husband Philip.
The 62-year-old isn’t the first Prime Minister to turn their hand to athletics. Back in 2006, Tony Blair ran a mile for Sport Relief, clocking a time of 7 minutes and 58 seconds at East London’s Lee Valley Cycle Circuit.
More recently, David Cameron spoke to media crews about Brexit during a run, afterwards jogging off into the distance.
Politicians are on an 11 day break from Westminster, with parliament resuming next Tuesday.
