This nourishing salad is easy to make and filled with plenty of food beneficial to an athletes diet. Tinned tuna is a strong source of protein which is also full of omega-3 fatty acids. Also the use of cannellini beans adds extra antioxidising elements to the salad, ensuring it is a well balanced meal. This recipe can easily be altered to suit your tastes; adding extra vegetables such as leafy greens or cucumber will increase the flavour and still make a super-healthy meal.
Asparagus is a key ingredient to the recipe, it’s rich in vitamins and fibre, low in fat and is extremely tasty!
