Following Russia’s suspension from international athletics competition after the widespread doping scandal, the IAAF has decided to reallocate two of the 2016 IAAF World Athletics Series competitions.
All-Russia Athletic Federation had previously won the rights to host both the 2016 IAAF World Race Walking Team Championships and 2016 IAAF World U20 Championships.
Interested host countries must register their interest by 7 December 2015, with an accelerated process process set to culminate with the IAAF Council electronic voting on the host venues on 7 January 2016.
