In 2014 Jo Pavey ran her fastest 10,000m (32.11) of the year to secure her medal-winning selection for European Championships at Night of the 10,000m PBs, and this year to assist with this key time-based objective, Highgate Harriers have secured the services of Run-Fast to be their Pace Maker Partners on 16th May.
Race Organiser Ben Pochee told us: “We [Highgate Harriers] are excited to work with Run Fast and their stable of elite athletes to ensure correct racing tempo, as well as helping our athletes achieve breakthrough performances PB times it will play a critical role in securing all important qualifying times for Great Britain representation at European Cup & U23/U20 European Championships.”

“It’s a great opportunity for our elite athletes to sharpen their speed, and to do so at an event that is completely unique. The calibre of the athletes signing up for this year’s races speaks volumes about the success of last year’s event.

As well as incorporating British and English National Championships, Highgate Harriers Night of the 10,000m PBs will be the trials for the European Cup, U23 European Championships and U20 European Championships.
