The doping hearings of Welsh athletes Rhys Williams and Gareth Warburton have been delayed until December 2014.
Both athletes were provisionally suspended in July and were unable to take their places in the Welsh Commonwealth Games team after their A samples showed traces of banned substances earlier in the year.
The cases were originally due to take place in October and November, but it is thought the delay is to enable both hearings to take place together with sport supplement provider Mountain Fuel, used by both athletes, thought to be at the centre of both allegations.
The Welsh company is co-operating with the enquiry to clarify whether any of its products supplied to the athletes could have been responsible for the athlete’s positive test samples.
