Beijing, I was there! Also it’s the most incredible stadium ever built.
How did you find out London was to host the 2012 Olympics and where were you at the time?
I was selling sweets at Croydon Harriers for a school sports day and we listened on the radio.
What are your hopes for London 2012?
To win an individual medal.
Favourite athletics venue?
Crystal Palace.
Do you have any pre-competition superstitions?
Same warm-up, Red Bull and listen to my iPod.
Best friends in athletics?
Kate Dennison, Andrew Steele and Dan Greaves.
Pre-competition meal?
Nothing fishy!
Sporting hero?
Dan Greaves “King of Loughborough”.
What other sports do you like?
Football, rugby and triathlon.
If you were not an athlete what would you like to be?
Carpenter or in marketing.
Favourite film?
Too many. I like the Bourne films.

Top Gear, Regular Show and Family Guy.

Andrew Steele, Oscar Pistorious, Dai Greene and Kate [Dennison] would be my date. The banter s always great with these guys.

Sunglasses, satellite telephone and lots of Ribena.

Interesting unknown fact about yourself?
Post-2012 I’d like to live in South Africa for a few years.
What is in your kit bag when you go out onto the track?
Spikes, vest, shorts, Red Bull, Livestrong band and my iPod.
