There were victories for Stockport and Aldershot, Farnham and District in the senior races at the ERRA National Autumn Road Relays in Sutton Park in Birmingham. A team of Emily Hosker-Thornhill, Laura Gent, Amy Griffiths and Louise Small triumphed in the four stage event for Aldershot, while Ross Millington brought Stockport’s men home in the men’s six stage contest. Coventry Live reports that an athletics stadium in Nuneaton has had to cancel events today because of the arrival of an illegal traveller encampment at the back of the venue over the weekend. A public debate is due to be held on the traveller situation in the area.
