GB JUNIORS CLINCH EURO XC TEAM TITLE
Some gutsy running on a tricky surface in Tilburg from the likes of Amelia Quirk secured the gold medal for the Great Britain and Northern Ireland team in the under 20 race. Quirk was first home in fifth, with Khahisa Mhlanga seventh and Grace Brock thirteenth. Read how the Brits got on here.

DASAOLU HAVING SURGERY TODAY
After raising more than £13,000, GB sprinter James Dasaolu is expected to go “urgent surgery” today on a ruptured achilles tendon. The 9.91s 100m man asked the public to help donate to help him reach his target of being fit for Tokyo 2020.

He says ‘I started competing before the first black person had even played for England, so maybe subliminally some of the negativity I received was because of the colour of my skin.”
