Two-time Paralympic champion and F42 shot put world record holder Aled Davies leads the entries for the Welsh Athletics Senior Track and Field Championships.
Olympic bobsleigher Mica Moore (below) lines up in the 100m, where she will face the likes of Amy Odunaiya, while it could be a good battle between Sam Gordon (PB: 10.32) and Ronnie Wells (PB: 10.37) in the men’s equivalent.
A number of athletes who have represented Wales at recent Commonwealth Games are expected, including London 2012 Olympian Brett Morse (fifth at Glasgow 2014), who could face national junior champion James Tomlinson before the teenager heads to Sweden for the European Under 20 Championships later this month.

Welsh half marathon and parkrun (5K) world record holder Charlotte Arter is involved in the 5000, with Kristian Jones on the men’s side.
Other names you might recognise from the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games include hammer thrower Osian Jones and steeplechaser Ieuan Thomas (below), who is also entered for the 1500m where he may come up against Rowan Axe.
Hurdler Caryl Granville is entered for her typical sprint and one-lap double. In the 100m hurdles she is set to face Scottish record holder Heather Paton (guest), while Welsh junior record holder and reigning 400m flat champion Lauren Williams lines up alongside Bethany Kennedy, who has managed a PB of 47.65 this year.
Other strong field eventers include nine-time British Universities’ medallist Adele Nicoll (shot put and discus), three-time English Schools’ winner Bethan Rees (javelin), and two-time British Universities’ champion Osaze Aghedo (triple jump).
Guests Harry Coppell – who was the 2013 World Youth Champion – Jack Phipps and Jade Ive are all down for the pole vault.
