Two athletes have been added to the British Athletics para team for the World Para Athletics Championships London 2017; a once in a lifetime opportunity to further inspire the future generation of British para athletics track and field stars.
Two-time Paralympian Julie Rogers (coach: Allen Adamson), who competed in Rio last year, earned selection to the T42 100m. The 18 year-old recorded a personal best in Bedford a few weeks ago, running a time of 16.82 before backing this up with a further run of 16.99 over an hour later.
Meanwhile, Jack Gladman (Andy Coleman) will make his maiden appearance in a senior British vest in the T38 1500m. The Stevenage & North Herts athlete has seen a significant improvement in 2017, improving his lifetime best to 4:32.35 in Paris last month.
