A further five Russian athletes have been approved to compete internationally as neutral athletes in 2019, by the IAAF Doping Review Board. The five athletes; Elizaveta Kamenets (heptathlon), Alexander Komarov (decathlon), Rail Kutuev (long jump),Liliia Mendaeva (1500/3000m U20) and Aleksey Shevchuk (race walk) have met the exceptional eligibility criteria to compete internationally, although their nation (RusAF) still remains suspended from international competitions. So far, 68 Russian athletes have been declared eligible as Authorised Neutral Athletes in 2019, which will no doubt come as very positive news for world class athletes ahead of the World Championships in Doha in October.
