Event Group Integration Days organised by England Athletics are taking place on the 23rd April and 8th May.
These days are the culmination of the third level of the UKA coaching qualification structure, the Event Group Coach qualification. The integration day brings together all of the online modules of the award, through discussion and group work.
Candidates for the integration days must have completed the following pre-requisites:
- Sprints & Hurdles – all online modules
- Endurance – all online modules
- Jumps – all modules, plus the Athletics Coach Modules for Triple Jump and also for Pole Vault (Including the Pole Vault practical Assessment)
- Throws – all modules, plus the Athletics Coach Modules for Hammer and Discus (Including the practical Assessments for Hammer and Discus)
The Event Group Integration Day on the 23rd April 2016, will be hosted at the following locations:
- Sprints are Hurdles – Alexander Stadium, Birmingham
- Jumps – Alexander Stadium, Birmingham
- Throws – Holiday Inn Heathrow, London

- Endurance – Holiday Inn Heathrow, London

The Event Group Coach progresses on from the Athletics Coach award focusing on an event group area (throws, speed, endurance or jumps) with the aim of enabling coaches to plan and adapt training to meet the needs of individuals who have a range of abilities, experiences and fundamental movement skills regardless of their chronological age.
To gain the award candidates follow online learning modules and then finish the course with the integration day.
