Chambers has made many international 100m and 4x100m finals over the years but he ‘s about to embark upon a journey that will challenge him like no other.
Founded in 2007, Teens Unite seeks to aid teenage cancer patients following their release from hospital and is the only charity in the country that does so.The 35 year old 100m specialist will be climbing the 16,000 foot ascent of Mont Blanc in a seven day expedition in a effort to raise money from Teens Unite.
Chambers explains: “In life we all have our own mountains to climb and conquer. Working with Teens Unite has been a humbling experience and has helped me to put my own life into perspective.
“These young people have the most incredible and inspirational stories of overcoming the biggest obstacles imaginable. It is a privilege to help them in any way on their journey. “
