The reigning World Shot Put Champion David Storl has thrown a new World Record in the shot circle… but not with a conventional implement.
The Olympic silver medallist has launched a 4.5kg Easter egg a whopping 25.90m to shatter the World Record.

The 23-year-old German was originally a decathlete before the death of his personal coach in 2006 led him to focus on the shot put and discus.
Storl is the current World Champion after his throw of 21.73m took gold in Moscow in 2013.
