Mt SAC Relays, Walnut, California, USA, 16-18 April 2015

Marilyn Okoro recorded a time of 2:02.35 in the 800m whilst Zac Seddon improved his 1500m PB to 3:42.02.

Carl Myerscough finished fifth in the discus with 57.46m.

Virginia Challenge, Charlottesville, USA, 17-18 April 2015

Rosie Clarke set a career best in the 1500m finishing third with 4:12.10.

Michael Johnson Classic, Waco, Texas, USA 18 April 2015

George Caddick broke his personal best to clock 46.10 in the 400m and Montene Speight also broke her PB to win in 52.21.

NTC Pure Athletics Sprint Elite Meet, Clermont, Florida, USA, 18 April 2015

In the 100mh, the British contingent also had great success with Tiffany Porter going to world number one with 12.56 whilst Lucy Hatton also ran 12.84 in the same race. Hatton’s PB before the meet had been 13.20.

Earlier in the day Serita Solomon has finished runner-up in a separate final with 12.69 however the wind speed was over the legal limit of +2.0 m/s as the win gauge registered +2.6 m/s.

In the long jump Shara Proctor also went top of the 2015 world rankings, with a 6.77m leap. The competition was won by Christabel Nettey with 6.98m, but unfortunately for the Canadian the wind gauge was not working for the first part of the competition and therefore her performance wasn’t eligible to lead the world rankings.

Also in the sand pit, Dan Bramble converted his good indoor form by bettering his previous long jump PB of 7.91m with a fifth round jump of 8.21m (+1.8 m/s) that saw him beat reigning Olympic Triple Jump champion Christian Taylor among other notable names.

The sprinters also had a good day at the office with James Ellington clocking 20.49 in the 200m (+1.9 m/s) and 10.10 in the 100m (+2.3 m/s). Roy Ejakuekwu recorded times of 10.22 (+3.3 m/s) and 10.26 (+3.2 m/s), Kieran Showler-Davies, Sean Safo-Antwi, Dannish Walker-Khan, Nigel Levine and Imran Rahman all recorded legal times of 10.27, 10.33, 10.51, 10.55 and 10.56 respectively. Mark Lewis-Francis also clocked a windy 10.38 (+4.6 m/s) and Margaret Adeoye 11.39 (+3.9 m/s).

Ejakuekwu also recorded 20.78 (+3.5 m/s) in the 200m with Nigel Levine clocking 20.96 (+3.6 m/s)

Victoria Ohuruogu beat Lynsey Sharp in the 400m as the two Brits claimed 1st and 4th in times of 53.86 and 55.16. Daniel Awde ran 46.20, Rabah Yousif 46.24, Andrew Steele 47.17 and Dwayne Cowan 47.67 whilst Jack Green made his first 400mH appearance since 2013 with a comfortable victory in 50.23.

Gianni Frankis clocked a windy (2.4 m/s) 13.77 in the 110mH.

Chris O’Hare finished second in the road mile with a time of 4:07.0.

Alan Bertram Spring Memorial Open, Loughborough, UK, 19 April 2015

Commonwealth bronze medallist went third on the UK rankings with a winning throw of 71.96m.

Taylor Campbell threw the European junior championships qualifying standard in the hammer with a winning performance of 72.75m

Morrisons Great Edinburgh Run ten mile road race, Edinburgh, UK, 19 April 2015

Andrew Lemoncello finished second with 50:02.
