British Athletics Accept Invite For Hurdles Marrs For IAAF World Indoor Championships

British Athletics has accepted an IAAF invite for Megan Marrs (coach: Jerzy Maciukiewicz; club Windsor Slough Eton & Hounslow) to compete in the women’s 60m hurdles at next week’s IAAF World Indoor Championships in Birmingham.

Marrs took gold at the SPAR British Indoor Championships at Arena Birmingham last weekend in a personal best time of 8.16 seconds and received an IAAF invite to return to the same venue for the World Championships.

The 20-year-old joins Marilyn Nwawulor (Lloyd Cowan; Harrow) in the field for the women’s 60m hurdles, which begins on Friday 2 March, and takes the size of the team set to #represent in Birmingham to 32.
