Munich 2022 was home to a beautiful street course for the marathon competitions. Victory in the women’s marathon went to Poland’s Aleksandra Lisowska.
Victory at the European Athletics Championships was the 31-year-olds first senior European title. Lisowska set a season’s best time on the way to winning gold.
