Julian Weber took gold in the men’s javelin at the 2022 European Athletics Championships in Munich.
With Weber taking the gold on home soil, he ensured Germany kept the title for another two years after Thomas Rohler won it in 2018.
It was also Germany’s sixth gold medal of the Championship, which helped them finish top of the overall medal table.
