One of the closest finishes you could imagine happened in the final of the 110m hurdles at the 2022 European Championships.
Asier Martinez of Spain claimed gold by 1/1000th second ahead of defending champion Pascal Martinot-Lagarde.
The Spaniard won in a time of 13.14s and added European gold to his World bronze he collected in Oregon.
