Femke Bol was going for an unprecedented 400m/400m hurdles double at the 2022 European Athletics Championship in Munich.
Having already won gold in the 400m, Bol lined up and stormed to her second gold in a championship record 52.67 – becoming the first athlete to achieve this double.
