Mondo Duplantis of Sweden set a new European Athletics Championships Championship record in the pole vault final on Saturday night.
Clearing 6.06m Duplantis added 1 centimetre to the record he set in Berlin four years ago.
The jump ensured he successfully defended his title and took gold at the 2022 European Athletics Championships in Munich.
