What a week it’s been for Femke Bol in Germany.
The 22-year-old Dutch running star predicted a “tough challenge” as she came to Munich aiming for a famous 400m double.
On Wednesday, Bol grabbed the headlines with gold in the 400m with a European lead time of 49.44s.
Just 48 hours later, she was back, storming to victory in the 400m Hurdles in a Championship record 52.67.
With a double in the bag, Femke linked up with her Dutch team-mates to anchor the 4x400m relay squad to get her hands on another gold. A hat-trick of golds over four days in Munich. Have a rest Femke!
