It was another night of drama in Munich’s Olympic stadium on day three of the European Championships.
Six champions, six gold medals and some incredible battles. Five of the champions reveal their joy.
First up is Portugal’s Pedro Pichardo who completed the set of major triple jump titles. Next is Great Britain’s Matthew Hudson-Smith who stormed to 400m glory.
Bianca Florentina Ghelber won her first senior medal with gold in the hammer throw.
Only 0.001 separated Asier Martinez and Pascal Martinot-Lagarde in the 110m hurdles final, while Finland’s Wilma Murto soared over three Finnish records to win the pole vault.
