Armand Duplantis’ Dream Debut | Berlin 2018 | Road To Munich 2022

Armand Duplantis is a generational talent. He had a dream debut at the 2018 European Athletics Championships in Berlin, winning gold in the pole vault.

The Swedish superstar was eagerly awaited by the fans in attendance in the German city, as his reputation as a future star had rapidly grown in the previous years.

Duplantis did not disappoint, having a near-flawless run to winning gold. He beat former European Champion Renaud Lavillenie in the process.

To cap off the stellar display, the young vaulter cleared 6:05m in the final, setting a new U20 World Record and Championship Record.

In what seems to be the first of many potential European titles, watch Mondo win his maiden European gold on The Road To Munich 2022.

Is there a new World Record on the horizon for Mondo?
