Few athletes have had a more impressive run at European Athletics Championships than Sandra Perkovic.
The Croatian discus thrower first won European gold back in 2010. Perkovic went on to dominate European Championships in 2012, 2014 and 2016.
Berlin 2018 was an opportunity for Perkovic to create sporting history and win her fifth consecutive discus title. She did not disappoint, overcoming the competition with a notable margin.
