A true global superstar of modern athletics – Jessica Ennis-Hill was the face of heptathlon events during the early 2010s.
The British athlete made her European Championship debut in 2006, and by 2010 in Barcelona, she was one of the favourites to win gold.
Across the seven events, Ennis-Hill scored the most points in three of them. This dominance over her competitors resulted in a final score of 6823 – A new Championship Record.
