It’s day 7 at the World Athletics Club! Today we catch up with Olympic 800m champion Athing Mu who finally takes to the track in her event’s opening round later today. We also meet two athletes with strong ties to Hayward Field: two-time world and twice Olympic decathlon champion Ashton Eaton, an Oregon native and University of Oregon grad, and Raevyn Rogers, another Oregon alum who struck 800m bronze at the Tokyo Olympics last year. We also take a behind-the-scenes tour of the photo finish room with photo finish judge Janet Nixon and visit the Museum of World Athletics (MOWA) exhibit in Eugene. There’s also a look back at the highlight from day 6 and taped evidence of Legend The Bigfoot’s dance-off challenge with Alison dos Santos.
