In the fastest team event that European Championship events have to offer, the men’s 4x100m is always a thrilling affair. With very little margin for error, it’s tough to know who will emerge victorious before the race has began.
At the Zurich 2014 European Athletics Championships, the crowd in attendance saw the fastest men’s 100m sprinters in Europe collectively put on one the fastest finals in recent history.
It was the Great British foursome who edged nearest rivals Germany in the final 100m to lay claim to a well earned gold medal.
