Dafne Schippers was in fine form at the European Athletics Championships in Zurich in 2014, winning both the 100m and 200m titles.
Her 100m final victory came in a time of 11.12 and it was also her first of two golds in the 100m at European Athletics Championships – she went on to defend her title on home soil in Amsterdam in 2016.
Schippers had a glittering career having previously won the U23 title in Tampere in 2013.
