Office Base: Unit 159, 15 Pollard East Street, Manchester, M40 7SL
Reports to: Operations Manager and Managing Director
Location: Manchester Based but work from home initially with opportunities to travel domestically and internationally.
Pay: Competitive hourly or event-based day rate depending on the event.
The Role
Interested in a career in TV?
Our dedicated production team deliver broadcasts at track and field meetings across the UK and Europe and runners play an important role in delivering these effectively.
You will be required to assist with setup and de-rigging before and after events and to act upon instructions from Directors and Team Leaders to fulfil the needs of the crew. This could include helping to come up with a strategy for what action should be filmed at a particular time, delivering resources throughout the team, and finding solutions to any issues that might arise.
You will need to be self-motivated, focused and conscious of health and safety at all times.
Key Skills
An interest in sport and athletics is ideal and it is essential to be driven, focused and organised as you will be working in a busy, live environment. It is not essential to have prior experience.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills are vital. You will need to be confident building working relationships quickly and delivering upon instructions. You may also need to concentrate on several areas of work at once and you should be confident in reacting to changing situations. Reasonable physical fitness and mobility is needed to be an effective runner.
